A node does not skip stages. Each rung has entry conditions, a review, and a public status change in the world map.
Now · Aarambam
Node 000 sits at Stage 6 (Sovereign — the cloud core). Every other node is Stage 1 (Ally · planned).
Becoming · Nilaiththanmai
A mature ladder — Homeland nodes only enter in Nilaiyam-era, and only after unanimous trustee sign-off and 30-day public publication.
The six stages
- Stage 1 · Ally — Diaspora node in a safe jurisdiction.
- Stage 2 · Mesh — Two or more allies operating a shared archive mirror.
- Stage 3 · International — A civic bridge to a bordering polity (India, EU).
- Stage 4 · Institutional — Recognised civic partner — university, library, museum.
- Stage 5 · Homeland — Ground node on the homeland (Nilaiyam-era only).
- Stage 6 · Sovereign — Cloud core — the archive spine itself.
Homeland gate (Stage 5)
No homeland node in Aarambam. No homeland node in Nilaiththanmai. Homeland nodes are a Nilaiyam-era possibility with a unanimous trustee gate, a Continuity veto, and public publication within 30 days of siting. No covert siting, ever.
