சுடர்க்கல்Sudarkkal — the Ember-stone

A bipyramid crystal, roughly the size of a thumb, with a flame held inside the glass and a sealed chip beneath it. Tap it and it produces a signed statement that a copy of the Declaration of the Hybrid Nation exists in someone's hand. That is the whole of its function.

A website can be delisted. A domain can lapse. An archive held only on rented infrastructure is held at someone else's discretion. The stone moves the record out of that dependency and into objects that are already distributed, already offline, and already in nine jurisdictions before anyone asks permission.

The object

Bipyramid K9 optical-glass crystal, ~45mm × 28mm, three-part assembly

    Front lens — K9 optical glass

    Subsurface laser engraving places the karthigai flower inside the glass. No ink, no coating, no surface film. The mark cannot be removed without destroying the stone.

  2. II

    Core wafer — NTAG424 DNA + ferrite shield

    The chip sits on a ferrite layer that isolates its antenna from the metal collar. Read range 8–15mm through glass. The chip stores a serial and nothing else.

  3. III

    Rear shell — obsidian resin, gold collar

    Matte black shell, 3µm gold-plated brass collar. The seal is etched 6mm on the underside with the serial beneath it. A maker's mark, not decoration.

The seal appears twice on the object and never on the front face: six millimetres on the underside of the rear shell with the serial beneath it, and two millimetres on the gold collar at the seam. A hallmark, not a logo. It never sits over the flame.

How the seal works

The chip is an NTAG424 DNA (SUN / SDM). It does not store a message; it signs one, freshly, on every read.

Tap

The chip composes a fresh URL on every read. The serial is encrypted and a message authentication code is appended.

Verify

The server holds the diversified key. It decrypts the serial, recomputes the code, and compares. The key never reaches a browser.

Read

A valid tap returns three facts: the serial, the era day of issue, and the aggregate tap count. Nothing else exists to return.

Refuse

A replayed URL fails. A cloned chip cannot produce a valid code. An unknown serial returns unknown, not a guess.

The eight rules

Non-removable. They bind the object, the ledger, and every future era.

  1. 1.The stone is a pointer to the record. It is not an identity card, a membership token, or a credential.
  2. 2.No personal data is written to the chip. A serial, and nothing else.
  3. 3.No location is captured on tap. Country is self-declared at registration or left blank.
  4. 4.Tap counts are aggregate. There is no per-holder analytics, in this era or any era.
  5. 5.A lost or destroyed stone changes nothing. The record is not stored in the object.
  6. 6.Holders are never listed by name.
  7. 7.The stone confers no right, no standing, and no benefit. It attests only that a copy of the record exists.
  8. 8.Any future capability may tighten these rules. None may loosen them.

Two-layer honesty. Now (Aarambam): the standard is published, the ledger is empty, and no stone has been sealed. Becoming (Nilaiththanmai): a thousand stones in nine jurisdictions, each an independent witness that the record existed and was held.
