A one-screen brief for prospective doctoral supervisors.

This page exists so a supervisor who receives my cold email has somewhere quiet to land, read for two minutes, and decide whether the conversation is worth twenty minutes of their time. It is deliberately short.

01 · Who

M. Santhuru. UK-resident. Founder and sole director of TLTE C.I.C. (Co. No. 16426152) — a UK Community Interest Company whose statutory asset lock and community-interest report bind the work to a public-benefit purpose. No master's degree. Two years of full-time, unfunded practice-based research.

02 · The question
Under what conditions, and within what hard limits, can diaspora-built civic infrastructure produce policy-grade evidence for post-conflict accountability — without substituting for, or undermining, formal transitional-justice mechanisms?
03 · Practice-based evidence base (already built)
  • A live citation registry

180+ Tier-A / Tier-B sources behind permanent tlte-cite: identifiers, append-only, with backlinks from every page that cites them. See /cite.

  • A practice-based methodology

Two-layer architecture (Now / Becoming), Berkeley Protocol-aligned source discipline, UCP Manual + Murad Code safeguards, public refusals at /on-what-authority.

  • A public AI eval suite

Velicham, the archive's grounded assistant, is audited against a replicable eval at /velicham/evals — currently 95+ hand-verified cases across nine standing desks.

The full site (docs.tlte.cloud) is the corpus. /the-architecture explains the spine; /on-what-authority sets out the five authorities claimed and six refused; /research/for-universities maps the archive to live research areas.

04 · The ask

A 20-minute exploratory conversation, and — if the topic and the practice-based component are within departmental scope — your willingness to be named as a potential supervisor in a 2026 MPhil/PhD application. No expectation of funding from you or your department; I am applying to UKRI, AHRC, and Commonwealth schemes in parallel.

05 · Documents already drafted

hello@tlte.cloud · I respond within 48 hours, UK working week.

If you would prefer to read more before deciding, /the-architecture (~12 min) and /research/for-universities (filterable bibliography) are the two highest-signal pages.
