Magalir Avai is not a registered UK charity, not registered with the Charity Commission, and is not soliciting public donations. TLTE C.I.C. (Co. No. 16426152) is a community-interest company operating a research archive.
What Magalir Avai is not
A clear boundary protects the women this Council exists for, and protects the diaspora from a service we cannot lawfully deliver today. Read this page before you ask Magalir Avai to do something it cannot do.
We do not accept survivor reports, complaints, or evidence on this site. The Safety Framework is a Becoming-layer specification, not a live service. If you need help now, contact the helplines listed on /magalir-avai or the Safety Framework page.
We do not match adults with children or vulnerable adults. Any future mentoring would require enhanced DBS clearance, supervised matching, and operate inside a regulated entity. None of that exists today.
For accountability, see OHCHR. For immediate danger, contact emergency services. For safeguarding concerns about a child, contact your local authority's safeguarding board. For medical or psychological care, contact a licensed professional.
We do not speak for the Tamil Families of the Disappeared. We document the existence of their movement and link out to PEARL, ITJP, the Sri Lanka Campaign and Tamil Guardian — the organisations that have stood with them since 2017.
There is no Magalir Avai table of names, addresses, family relationships, case notes, or testimony anywhere on this platform. The Aayvu archive is consent-only and operates under the broader TLTE evidence rules.
We do not run individual GoFundMe-style appeals, casework crowdfunding, or sponsor-a-mother schemes. Any future women-led project funding will be transparent, milestone-based, and routed through a regulated treasury.
Magalir Avai exists within the TLTE non-violent civic infrastructure (Root 4). It does not glorify, organise, or recruit for any armed actor. Lawful by design.
"A clear boundary is the first form of protection."
