The Witness Pass is a portable rendering of a member's row in the public Role Ledger (spine_role_ledger). It carries only four operational facts: alias (never legal name), live role (Kindred · Witness · Keeper · Archon), era day issued and re-verified (never a calendar date), and revocation state. The QR resolves to /witness/verify/{serial}, which projects exactly those four facts and the update history — no email, no IP, no payment data, no tier, no level. Phase 1 ships the in-app card and the public verifier as the canonical credential. Phase 2 (Aarambam) adds Google Wallet as a second render target via an 'Add to Google Wallet' button on /passport — the wallet object carries only the same four facts plus the verifier QR. Apple Wallet ships in Phase 3 once issuer credentials land. The in-app card and the public verifier remain canonical on every surface; revocation invalidates the pass everywhere within seconds.
