How to cite TLTE

மேற்கோள் வழிகாட்டி

TLTE Docs Hub is a citable scholarly publication. This page gives templates for the most common citation styles, plus the rules of the tlte-cite: namespace that holds the corpus together. Currently 667 editorially-verified records are live.

Three rules
  • Era, not date. TLTE does not use calendar dates as the publication year. Use Aarambam era in the year field. The site does not publish drift markers; readers can verify revisions on the Continuity Changelog.
  • Cite the resolver, not the redirect. Always cite https://docs.tlte.cloud/cite/<slug> rather than the original source URL — the resolver page is permanent and includes a Wayback fallback even if the source rots.
  • TLTE is the publisher, not the author of external sources. When citing a primary source via the registry (e.g. the 1948 Citizenship Act), the original author / institution is the author. TLTE Docs Hub is the publisher of the resolver record.

The tlte-cite: namespace

Every editorially-verified source carries a permanent identifier in the form tlte-cite:<slug>. Slugs are append-only — once published they are never re-used or re-pointed. The canonical resolver lives at https://docs.tlte.cloud/cite/<slug>.

Machine-readable

The full registry is published as JSON for re-use by researchers, archivists, and downstream citation tools. The endpoint is stable and CORS-open.

If a source rots

Every resolver page exposes a Wayback snapshot fallback and a Snapshot now link that triggers a fresh capture. If you cite TLTE in print, we recommend running the Snapshot now link once before publication.
