சாதியும் அண்டமும்Caste & Cosmology
Five dossiers, nine patterns, one Keplerian frame. The Tamil Shaiva canon already contains the counter-current; the Eelam Tamil record already contains the struggle; the unitary state's interruption is already documented. This cluster does not flatten any of those into a slogan.
- Tier-A only: peer-reviewed monograph or journal, UN/ICG report, primary statute, official census, Hansard.
- Never name a living individual's caste.
- Never name a present-day village by caste.
- Never aggregate TLTE's own counts of caste — cite Pfaffenberger / Thiranagama / Silva-Sivapragasam-Thanges instead.
- Always pair internal-hierarchy evidence with state-suppression evidence.
- LTTE-and-caste material is published under Dossier-04 safety rules.
- Diaspora dossier: structural patterns only, never families or matrimonial platforms.
- Two-layer rule on every page (Now / Becoming).
- Every dossier carries a "How this is misused" box.
- Comparative frame: Travancore 1936, Kerala temple-entry, US Jim Crow, Burakumin, UK Equality Act 2010 s.9(5)(a).
The five dossiers
Varna and jāti as distinct registers; the colonial census flattening; bhakti as internal counter-current; Periya Purāṇam, Nandanar, the Tamil Shaiva canon's own caste-subverting voice.
Vellalar dominance, Panchamar exclusion, Maviddapuram 1968, Social Disabilities Act 1957, Thesawalamai 1707, Mukkuva Law in Batticaloa, Karaiyar maritime capital.
Citizenship Act 1948 and statelessness for ~700,000 Indian-Origin Tamils; a structurally distinct caste formation that should never be collapsed into Jaffna's.
What peer-reviewed scholarship records about caste during the LTTE era. Tier-A only. No naming, no glorification, no demonisation. Same safety rules as Dossier 04.
Endogamy patterns across UK, Canadian and Australian Eelam Tamil generations; UK Equality Act 2010 s.9(5)(a) and the Tirkey v Chandhok line. Structural patterns only — never individuals.
Sūrya / visibility · Chandra / cycle · Maṅgala / friction · Budha / speech · Bṛhaspati / teaching · Śukra / wealth · Śani / endurance · Rāhu / eclipse · Ketu / severance.

The legal test under ICCPR Art 1, GA Res 1514 (1960), GA Res 2625 (1970), the Quebec Reference (SCC 1998) and the Kosovo Advisory Opinion (ICJ 2010) is the relationship between a people and the state denying their rights. No society — Sinhala, Tamil, English, Indian, French — would pass an internal-purity audit, and none has been required to. TLTE engages caste honestly because the right does not depend on hiding it; it depends on the record being honest enough to be designed against. The Min economy's refusal of caste fields, the Council's k=25 cohort floor, and Karuthu Vellam's ε≤1.0 differential privacy are designed answers — see The Architecture.
