The developer guild — பட்டறை, the workshop. Members earn their place through skill trials, not credentials, and are paid in Min through the Bounty Board.

Padikalam (படிகலம்) — skill trials
Four parallel tracks. Each trial has a verifiable rubric; outputs feed into the Pattarai application review.

- Backend — Supabase RLS, edge functions, Postgres functions.
- AI / Intelligence — managed AI gateway, prompt design, research ingestion.
- Voice / Realtime — LiveKit, presence, turn engines.

Bounty Board (Phase 2 — live)
The workshop floor for paid contributions. Atomic RPCs — claim_bounty, submit_bounty, pay_bounty — auto-credit Min on approval. Listed at /pattarai/bounties; admin view at /pattarai/admin.
Bounties of homeland priority lock to Eelam / diaspora developers for an initial window before opening to the wider guild. This is structural — not a one-off promotion. A meaningful share of bounty earnings goes to developers from the homeland by design.
Why it matters
Pattarai is the long-term answer to "who builds VinMin?" The platform should be maintainable by Tamil developers, paid in the platform's own currency, governed by demonstrated craft. See the Min economy for how earnings flow.
